Dwayne Smith

Dwayne has been the Facilities Manager at Britt David since July 2005.  He is married to Rebecca and has four children.  Rebecca has been a nurse for twenty years and is active at Britt David. Derek attends the University of Georgia, Windell is in the National Guard, and both Holly and Victoria are students at Columbus Tech. 

Born in Columbus, Dwayne played Church League basketball and softball. He worked at Blue Cross/Blue Shield for 27 years and still keeps in touch with numerous long-time friends. He enjoyed playing softball for BCBS as well as North Highland Assembly and Britt David. He is interested in all sports, especially Alabama Football and the Atlanta Braves. He enjoys fishing and working in his yard. 

Dwayne says the Lord blesses him every day. His favorite Bible verse is John 3:16 which says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
