Anna Highland

Anna grew up in Georgia, both north and south. When she was 12 years old she was saved into the family of God. She has been involved in various ministries and positions over the years.

Anna graduated from Glynn Academy in Brunswick, Georgia and later attended Columbus State University. Her background is in accounting, which has served her well with a household of four children and living in Georgia, Kentucky, Virginia, France, Germany, and back to Georgia. She considers her large family of four children, twelve grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren to be some of the best blessings of God.

Anna came to Britt David as Financial Secretary on April 1, 2002. She also serves a Financial Ministry Assistant at Columbus Baptist Association.

The chapter of Scripture that has had an influence in her life from the time Scripture was read in elementary school is Psalm 100. She believes there is always something to praise God about in our lives regardless of how dark it may look because in verse 3 it says, “…He has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” In verse 5 we are reminded that God does not forget, “For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.” But then verse 4 cannot be left out, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise:  be thankful unto Him, and bless his name.” But then she can’t really leave out any of the verses because they just make her heart sing.
